Job Summary

As a PLM Process and Application Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the stable, secure, and high-performance operation of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems. Your day-to-day activities involve managing incidents, problems, and changes (2nd/3rd level support), as well as planning and executing releases, patches, and upgrades. You will bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation by translating requirements into technical concepts and overseeing system customizing and configurations. A significant part of the role involves integrating PLM systems into the broader IT landscape, including CAD, ERP, and MES environments, to ensure consistent data flows. You will also lead or participate in PLM projects such as rollouts and migrations. Required Skills

Education

Degree in (Business) Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Engineering, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in PLM consulting, PLM administration, or application support.
  • Proven experience in managing product lifecycle processes including design, product data, and configuration management.
  • Experience in technical PLM customizing, workflows, and interface management.
  • Experience in project management using both classical and agile methodologies.
  • Experience in planning and executing system, integration, and acceptance tests.
