Job Summary

This role involves working within the State Criminal Police Office (LKA) of Schleswig-Holstein, specifically within the Mobile Task Force (MEK) department. As an IT Specialist in the Operational Technology unit, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of critical IT infrastructure, including the design, implementation, and administration of high-availability systems, databases, and complex computer networks. Beyond standard administrative tasks, you will develop custom software applications and support third-party systems used in police operations. A unique aspect of this position is the direct involvement in operational missions, where you will provide technical support to tactical forces in the field. Additionally, you will act as a technical instructor, planning and conducting training sessions for colleagues and at national workshops.
