Job Summary
As a Senior Information Security Specialist within the EMEA Security Operations Center (dbSOC), you will play a pivotal role in a 24x7x365 'follow-the-sun' global security model. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve leading the definition and evolution of threat detection and response processes, acting as a Lead Incident Manager for critical security events, and conducting sophisticated crisis simulations (table-top exercises). You will serve as a technical mentor for the SOC team, particularly in enhancing incident response capabilities within cloud environments like GCP and M365. Beyond operational response, you will drive tool and platform evaluations for SIEM and SOAR systems and manage security projects within the Chief Security Office. This role is unique for its high level of strategic influence on security architecture and the opportunity to work in a high-stakes enterprise environment protecting global financial infrastructure. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Computer Science or a comparable field of study, or equivalent professional qualification. Ideally holds recognized industry certifications such as SANS or ISC² (e.g., CISSP, GCIH).
Experience
- Professional experience in Incident Response and Threat Hunting across both on-premise and cloud infrastructures
- Extensive technical knowledge of security risks, vulnerabilities, threat landscapes, and attack tactics
- Proven experience in protecting and configuring cloud environments, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft 365
- Experience in leading security incidents and managing cross-functional projects within a Security Operations Center (SOC)
- Strong background in enterprise technologies including network engineering, operating systems, and database security

- Availability to act as Manager on Duty during occasional weekends and public holidays is required. The role supports hybrid work models.
