Job Summary

As a Health Data Integration Specialist at the Data Integration Center, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between clinical data and research-ready datasets. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve developing high-performance ETL processes using Scala and JOOQ, modeling data into machine-readable formats, and optimizing complex database queries. You will also conduct data quality analyses and monitor ongoing integration workflows to ensure system integrity. This role requires a blend of software engineering excellence and data management expertise. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or Diploma in Computer Science or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience in developing high-performance ETL processes
  • Extensive experience with relational database systems such as PostgreSQL
  • Proven experience in software development methodologies including unit testing
  • Experience with version control systems and collaborative development in GitLab
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary teams
