As the IT Group Lead for the Municipal Data Center (KDZ) in Mainz, you will lead a team of experts responsible for the technical operation of a BSI-certified public data center. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing and developing your team, creating IT concepts and guidelines for server virtualization, storage, backup, and database systems, and ensuring the continuous optimization of these critical infrastructures. You will play a key role in strategic planning for IT architecture and collaborate on large-scale IT projects that support the digitalization of public administration in Rhineland-Palatinate.
