Job Summary

As a Product Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the advancement of electrochemical sensor systems and intermediate products for the pharmaceutical and life science sectors. Your daily responsibilities will include coordinating the development and validation of test methods for in-process controls, ensuring all documentation adheres to strict GMP, IVD, and CLSI standards. You will bridge the gap between design and execution by supporting mechanical construction for development samples and setting up measurement stations in collaboration with internal and external partners. This role demands a high level of coordination as you manage project timelines, development costs, and quality standards while evaluating technical alternatives from a business perspective. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Chemistry, Biology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Medical Technology, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Extensive professional experience in the development, evaluation, or production of medical devices or diagnostic measurement systems (ideally Point-of-Care).
  • Proven experience in regulatory-compliant documentation within GMP, IVD, or CLSI frameworks.
  • Professional background in electrochemistry and the manufacturing of electrochemical sensors.
  • Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing project goals related to deadlines and costs.
