Job Summary
This fully funded doctoral position at Erlangen University Hospital offers a unique opportunity to conduct translational research within an interdisciplinary synergy project between Pathology and Molecular Medicine. The successful candidate will focus on muscle-invasive bladder cancer and the regulation of innate immunity. Day-to-day responsibilities include investigating the nuclear transport of cytokines, epigenetic chromatin modifications, and the molecular regulation of human endogenous retroviruses (ERV). Required Skills
Education
Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Molecular Life Sciences, Biochemistry, or a related natural science field.
Experience
- Professional experience in cell culture techniques
- Demonstrated experience in molecular life sciences or related laboratory research
- Experience in scientific writing and communication in English
- Background in molecular oncology or immunology is implied by the research focus
