Job Summary

As an International Liaison Officer within the 'Islamism and Islamist Terrorism' department of the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV), you will play a critical role in coordinating international security cooperation. Your daily responsibilities include managing communications between internal departments and foreign intelligence agencies, supporting departmental leadership, and overseeing administrative staff. You will contribute to the conceptual development of the liaison unit while utilizing your linguistic and intercultural skills to navigate complex diplomatic and security-related environments. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree in Administrative Sciences (e.g., General or Internal Administration) with a minimum grade of 'Very Good'.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience within a constitutional protection authority (Verfassungsschutzbehörde)
  • Experience in coordinating and organizing complex administrative or security tasks
  • Experience in international cooperation or liaison roles is implied
  • Experience living or working abroad is desirable but not mandatory
