Job Summary

As a Protection Systems Engineer specializing in medium voltage, you will serve as a vital technical link between project management and on-site clients within the renewable energy sector. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve performing protection and functional tests on medium voltage systems, including photovoltaic plants, transformer stations, and battery storage units. You will be responsible for commissioning protection devices, calculating setting data, and analyzing measurement results to ensure system reliability. This role is highly dynamic, requiring extensive travel across Germany, Austria, and occasionally Italy. You will join the CITYWATT team, part of the Praml Group, where you will contribute to integrated energy solutions that combine e-mobility with smart grid infrastructure. The position offers a high degree of autonomy, a structured onboarding process with a mentor, and the opportunity to work at the forefront of the energy transition in a permanent, full-time capacity.
