Job Summary

As a Telecontrol Technician and PLC Programmer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping modern automation and telecontrol technologies within the energy sector. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the planning, implementation, and documentation of complex automation projects. You will be responsible for the assembly, parameterization, and maintenance of telecontrol systems, as well as the programming and visualization of PLC controllers from leading brands like Siemens, Wago, and Phoenix Contact. A key part of the role includes setting up power plant controllers (EZA) and ensuring seamless data communication between transformer stations and grid operators using standard protocols. This position is particularly attractive for those passionate about e-mobility and renewable energy, offering the chance to work on integrated solutions involving photovoltaics and battery storage. The role provides a high degree of flexibility with mobile work options and a structured onboarding process through a dedicated mentor.

Required Skills

Education

State-certified Technician or Master Craftsman (Meister) in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Communications Engineering, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in telecontrol and automation technology
  • Proven experience within the energy sector is highly preferred
  • Extensive experience in programming and visualizing PLC control systems
  • Practical experience in load management and grid consumption control
