Job Summary

As an IT Service Technician at LANCOM Systems, you will serve as a critical point of contact for technical customer inquiries, handling Level 1 and 2 support. Your daily responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving technical issues remotely, as well as providing technical assistance for the installation and configuration of innovative networking products. You will work closely with internal development, product management, and sales teams to analyze and document service requirements. This role offers a high degree of autonomy and the chance to work for a leading European manufacturer of network solutions. After an intensive onboarding phase, you will also participate in an on-call rotation for nights and weekends. Required Skills

Education

Qualified IT Specialist (e.g., for System Integration) or a Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in technical customer support or IT service environments
  • Practical experience in the configuration and operation of VPN and network firewall systems
  • Demonstrated experience working with desktop and server operating systems including Windows and Linux
  • Experience in remote troubleshooting and error diagnosis for network hardware and software
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional departments like Development and Sales
