This role involves the continuous monitoring and coordination of the Common European Asylum System (GEAS) implementation within the State Office for Immigration and Refugees in Schleswig-Holstein. Based in Neumünster, the successful candidate will analyze European and national regulations, transforming external requirements into internal workflows and process descriptions. Day-to-day responsibilities include interface management between specialist departments and the ministry, identifying risks or deviations in implementation, and preparing decision-making documents for agency leadership. This position is unique as it sits at the intersection of international policy and local administration, offering a permanent contract with flexible working options. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor's or Diploma) in Public Administration, Communication Science, Political Science, or completion of the Administrative Qualification Course II (Verwaltungslehrgang II).

Experience

  • Professional experience in public administration or a related field
  • Experience in quality, risk, and process management instruments
  • Proven experience in professional communication with authorities and institutions
  • Experience in project management and collaborative teamwork
  • Familiarity with current refugee reception policies at state and federal levels
  • Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS) is desirable

Additional
