Job Summary

The Technical University of Munich (TUM) is seeking a motivated Tax Advisor to join its central finance department. In this role, you will provide comprehensive tax consulting for the university, focusing on income and value-added tax (VAT). Your daily responsibilities include preparing revenue-surplus accounts and annual financial statements, drafting tax returns, and supporting external tax audits. You will also participate in special tax-related projects and may act as a deputy for the head of the department. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Experience in the taxation of public and non-profit organizations is preferred
  • Proven experience in preparing financial statements and tax returns
  • Experience in handling complex tax audits and coordinating with authorities
  • Experience in independent project management and cross-departmental coordination
