Job Summary
As an IT Support Specialist based in Essen, you will be the primary point of contact for end-users, providing both on-site 'TechLounge' support and floorwalking assistance. Your daily responsibilities include ticket creation and documentation, performing error analysis for 2nd level support, and managing hardware such as Windows notebooks, MacBooks, and mobile devices. You will play a key role in administering users and devices through Azure and Intune, while supporting core technologies like Microsoft Office 365, Citrix VDI, and BitLocker. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy direct customer interaction and hands-on troubleshooting. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in technical customer support and user assistance
- Experience in handling hardware deployments for Windows and Apple devices
- Practical knowledge of network configurations, VPN, and Multi-Factor Authentication
- Experience with ticket documentation and error analysis processes
- Experience in managing users within a corporate directory environment
