Job Summary
This role at the Federal Ministry of Health (BMG) involves shaping the digital future of the German healthcare system within the 'Cybersecurity, Interoperability, and Data Compatibility' unit. As a Policy Advisor, you will manage the 'Cybersecurity Immediate Program,' overseeing complex funding applications and developing maturity models to monitor implementation success. Your day-to-day will involve high-level stakeholder management across government agencies, associations, and the private sector, alongside drafting decision papers and presentations for political leadership. This position is ideal for professionals with a background in health informatics or cybersecurity who enjoy working at the intersection of politics, science, and administration. Required Skills
Education
Master's degree or Diploma in Economics (preferably Business Informatics), Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Health Management, Health Economics, Medicine, Biomedicine, Biotechnology, or Molecular Medicine. A PhD or scientific publications are desirable.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in managing complex projects or funding programs, ideally in a leadership or senior role.
- Profound knowledge of cybersecurity specifically within the healthcare sector.
- Extensive experience in process modeling and the design of evaluation or maturity measurement systems.
- Proven experience in agile working methods and organizational management.
- Professional experience in drafting complex analytical documents and presentations for high-level decision-makers.

- Willingness to undertake business trips is required. Applicants with foreign degrees must provide proof of equivalence via the ZAB. Position is fixed-term until December 31, 2029. Location is either Bonn or Berlin.
