Job Summary

As a PKI Specialist for the City of Stuttgart's Department of Digitization, Organization, and IT (DO.IT), you will play a critical role in securing the municipal IT infrastructure. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve planning, operating, and maintaining the Public Key Infrastructure, including the installation and management of CA, sub-CA, CRL, and HSM server instances. You will develop strategies for automated certificate generation, establish trust management guidelines, and ensure comprehensive documentation of the PKI implementation. Beyond routine operations, you will lead threat prevention efforts, conduct forensic analyses of security incidents, and manage backup and recovery processes.
