Job Summary

Join the City Treasury of Stuttgart as an Accounts Receivable Clerk, contributing to the financial operations of the city. In this part-time role (50%), you will be responsible for managing recurring revenues, clarifying credit balances, and handling inquiries from debtors and specialist departments, particularly concerning dunning processes. You will also be involved in entering billing information into various systems, monitoring payment deadlines, and managing direct debit procedures. Required Skills

Education

Completed training as a public administration assistant, completed First Examination according to the remuneration ordinance (VKA, formerly Angestelltenlehrgang I), or Kaufmann/Kauffrau for Office Management, or a comparable three-year vocational training.

Experience

  • Professional experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role
  • Experience with dunning and payment monitoring
  • Experience with SEPA direct debit procedures
  • Experience with financial accounting systems

Languages

German (Fluent)

Additional

  • Knowledge of municipal treasury and accounting systems is desirable. Knowledge of SAP, ideally the SAP Communal Master from Komm.ONE, is required. Must have a careful and responsible working style. Good manners and very good German language skills (at least C1 level).
