Job Summary
This role is for an engaged Electrical Engineering Technician to join the Grid Control Center team in Wesseling, Germany. The successful candidate will independently monitor and manage the assigned medium-voltage grid (10 to 35kV) within the Westnetz GmbH area, playing a crucial part in ensuring the reliability of the power supply and contributing to the energy transition. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating all measures in case of disruptions, performing standardized grid calculations, creating disconnection programs, and independently making decisions based on guidelines to manage deployment for fault clearance. The position requires participation in special tasks and exciting projects, contributing to fault analyses, and working in a two-shift rotation (Monday-Friday). Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training and subsequent further training as a Technician/Master in Energy/Electrical Engineering
