Job Summary

This role is for a GIS Engineer specializing in development, focusing on building, operating, and evolving complex IT infrastructure for Geoinformation Systems (GIS) within a Public Cloud environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the conception, development, maintenance, and optimization of GIS applications based on the ESRI platform (ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Mobile solutions) and partner products. Key responsibilities include ensuring the performance and customer-oriented operation of the GIS environment, creating service-based structures, and managing data workflows. The role also involves supporting the automation of IT processes, contributing to system architectures across the Westnetz and E.ON Group, and integrating GIS with other operational information systems like SAP and DMS/Nscale. This position offers the opportunity to shape the energy transition and improve regional infrastructure within Germany's largest distribution grid operator.
