Job Summary

The Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research (MPS) is seeking a highly motivated Electronics System Engineer to join their team in Göttingen. In this role, you will be instrumental in the design, construction, and testing of digital electronic devices for ESA's EnVision mission to Venus. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include implementing spaceflight hardware, planning and executing rigorous test campaigns, and evaluating results to prepare technical documentation. You will also provide technical coordination for electronic device implementation. This position is particularly attractive as it offers the opportunity to work at a world-leading research institution on high-profile international space missions (ESA, NASA). Required Skills

Education

University degree (Master) in Electronic Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the implementation of digital electronic devices
  • Experience in planning and executing electronic test campaigns
  • Experience in space projects (ESA, NASA, etc.) is highly desired
  • Experience in technical reporting and documentation
