Job Summary

As an Industrial Cyber Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the global energy transition by securing power generation plants, Power-to-X projects, and other energy sector solutions. Operating within an international project team, your daily responsibilities include analyzing cybersecurity requirements from customer contracts and international standards, developing comprehensive security blueprints, and conducting Threat & Risk Analyses (TRA). You will act as a key consultant on critical industry standards such as IEC 62443 and ISO 2700x, ensuring that climate-friendly infrastructure remains resilient against cyber threats. This role is highly collaborative, requiring close coordination with stakeholders in engineering and portfolio management to implement holistic security designs. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; alternatively, extensive professional experience in IoT development and commissioning.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the engineering of IT/OT cybersecurity solutions and network communication
  • Extensive experience in conducting risk analyses, developing security concepts, and performing security hardening
  • Proven track record in handling component or software vulnerabilities and conducting security tests
  • Practical experience in commissioning or IoT development is highly valued
  • Professional experience working with international IT security standards and country-specific regulations
