Job Summary

As a Turbine Component Inspector and NDT Technician, you will play a critical role in the service and repair lifecycle of power generation equipment. Your primary responsibility involves planning and executing non-destructive testing (NDT), including visual, crack, and volume inspections, to assess the condition of incoming turbine components. Operating in a fast-paced service environment, you will use conventional measuring tools and machines to perform dimensional checks against technical drawings and specifications. You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Production Planning, and Manufacturing departments to evaluate results and document findings. This position is unique for its direct impact on customer repair timelines and the opportunity to represent technical results directly to clients. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a skilled worker, such as Industrial Mechanic, Cutting Machine Operator, or a comparable technical qualification.

Experience

  • Many years of practical experience in performing non-destructive testing (NDT)
  • Many years of professional experience in the field of turbine construction
  • Experience in NDT Level 2 for PT and MT is required; UT and RT certifications are preferred
  • Professional experience using conventional measuring tools and measuring machines
  • Experience collaborating with engineering and manufacturing departments
