Job Summary
As a Team Lead for IT Infrastructure & Security Services, you will spearhead a technical team responsible for supporting managed service clients across network, data center, and enterprise security domains. Your daily responsibilities involve mentoring staff, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring high-quality 2nd and 3rd-level support in collaboration with vendors like Cisco. You will play a pivotal role in process development, defining technical standards, and overseeing lifecycle projects while maintaining strict SLA compliance. This position is unique for its blend of leadership and high-level technical consultancy, offering a clear path for professional growth through funded certifications (such as Cisco CCNP) and access to a dedicated lab environment for hands-on project testing. You will collaborate closely with other service leads to drive innovation in service products and optimize customer environments across major German hubs like Hamburg, Munich, or Berlin.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration, IT System Administrator, or a comparable university degree. Ideally holds Cisco CCNP (Enterprise, Datacenter, or Security) and ITIL Foundation certifications.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Infrastructure and/or Security
- Extensive technical expertise at a Consultant level
- Experience in 2nd and 3rd-level technical support environments
- Proven experience in leadership, mentoring, or team management
- Practical experience with Cisco technologies (Enterprise, Datacenter, or Security)
- Experience in process development and technology implementation
