Job Summary

As a Planning Engineer for Primary Technology at Stromnetz Berlin, you will play a critical role in modernizing Berlin's 36,000-kilometer power grid. You will be responsible for the planning and quality assurance of primary technology systems for both new substation constructions and upgrades to existing network nodes. Your daily activities include creating tender documents, collaborating with external partners on high-voltage switchgear concepts, and conducting technical feasibility studies. This role sits within the technical planning and network development department, bridging the gap between initial project phases and realization. The position offers a highly attractive package including a 37-hour work week, 30 days of vacation, and a salary range between €61,000 and €74,000. Required Skills

Education

University degree (University or University of Applied Sciences) in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Engineering or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical engineering with a focus on power engineering
  • Experience in the planning and quality assurance of primary technology systems
  • Experience in coordinating external partners and cross-functional teams
  • Experience in project scheduling and cost planning
  • Initial experience in planning electrotechnical systems is preferred
