Job Summary

This role involves actively shaping and managing core infrastructure services for the German Pension Insurance data center in Berlin or Würzburg. As a Systems Administrator, you will handle a broad spectrum of tasks including Active Directory, DNS, NTP, monitoring, and logging. You will utilize modern DevOps tools such as Ansible, Git, and Artifactory to ensure stable and secure operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring IT processes, performing first and second-level support for service disruptions, and supporting the planning and documentation of operational procedures. You will also play a key role in IT security measures, KRITIS audits, and application migrations. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/Diploma) in IT, completed vocational IT training, or equivalent professional qualification/multi-year practical IT experience.

Experience

  • Several years of current and relevant professional experience in IT systems administration
  • Practical experience in at least one core area such as Active Directory, monitoring, or automation
  • Experience in data center infrastructure, including network and SAN, is highly desirable
  • Experience with agile working methods is preferred
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting and technical documentation

Additional
