As a System Administrator, you will handle daily operations, monitoring, and troubleshooting for critical services including Active Directory, DNS, NTP, and load balancers. You will play a key role in automation using tools like Ansible and Git, while ensuring high security and stability through DevOps practices. The position requires active participation in 1st and 2nd level support, documentation of operational procedures, and contribution to emergency and disaster recovery planning. You will work within a cross-location team to support application migrations and maintain IT security standards, including KRITIS audits. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor's or Diploma) in IT, completed vocational training in IT, or equivalent professional qualification/multi-year practical experience.

Experience

  • Several years of current and relevant professional experience in IT systems administration or infrastructure.
  • Practical experience in at least one core area: Active Directory, Monitoring, Load Balancing, or Automation.
  • Experience in data center infrastructure, network infrastructure, SAN, or data backup systems is preferred.
  • Professional experience in documenting IT processes and emergency planning.
  • Experience working with agile methods is an advantage.

Additional

  • Must be willing to participate in on-call rotations and regular business travel. Requires a security clearance check according to the Security Check Act (SÜG). Initial onboarding requires predominantly on-site presence in Berlin or Würzburg.
