Job Summary

As the Laboratory Technical Services Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of laboratory infrastructure for a global biopharmaceutical CRDO. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve leading a technical support team, managing the preventative maintenance program, and acting as a primary liaison between scientific staff and cross-functional departments like IT, Facilities, and Finance. You will take a hands-on approach to troubleshooting technical issues, overseeing equipment repairs, and managing the lifecycle of analytical instrumentation from installation to decommissioning. This role is essential for maintaining compliance with GRP and GMP standards while driving continuous improvement and cost efficiency in lab operations. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field

Experience

  • Leadership experience in mentoring and developing technical support teams
  • Professional experience in laboratory operations and equipment management
  • Hands-on experience with technical troubleshooting and resolution of operational events
  • Experience in writing and reviewing GRP documentation, including COPs and equipment validations
  • Experience managing external vendors for equipment repairs and maintenance
  • Experience in budget management for laboratory instrument maintenance
