Job Summary

As a Scientist specializing in Advanced Therapeutic Medicinal Products (ATMP) at Coriolis Pharma, you will be at the heart of biopharmaceutical innovation. Your daily responsibilities involve leading customer projects focused on nucleic acid-based therapies, including mRNA and siRNA. You will drive formulation development, conduct comparability studies, and perform stability assessments within a contract research environment. This role requires a blend of hands-on laboratory work—such as preparing Lipid Nanoparticle (LNP) formulations—and high-level scientific analysis. You will act as a system owner for laboratory equipment, ensuring compliance with Good Research Practice (GRP) and supporting method optimization. This position is particularly attractive for researchers looking to work with cutting-edge technologies like the Ignite system and contribute to the scientific evolution of next-generation therapeutic modalities. You will collaborate in a multidisciplinary team, managing unexpected results through proactive troubleshooting while supporting the onboarding of new colleagues in a structured, detail-oriented environment.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in (Bio)chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field; PhD preferred.

Experience

  • PhD or at least 3 years of relevant industry experience in NAT platforms or analytical laboratories
  • Professional experience in laboratory-scale LNP production
  • Hands-on experience with analytical or formulation methods for nucleic acid therapeutics
  • Experience working in regulated laboratory settings such as GMP is beneficial
  • Proven experience in project leadership or scientific contribution within a research environment

  • Must be willing to work in an S2 laboratory environment. Requires proficiency in MS Office and strong organizational skills for system ownership and laboratory compliance.
