Job Summary

This role involves the operation and maintenance of critical communication infrastructure at the University Hospital Halle (Saale). You will be responsible for managing the central telephone system, including employee and patient devices, DECT, and paging systems. A key part of the position includes the ongoing operation and development of the DAKS alarm server and localization systems, as well as the patient call system. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in telecommunications or systems integration and be comfortable working independently in a structured manner. Required Skills

Education

Degree or vocational training as an Information and Telecommunications Technician, Communications Technician with further training, IT Specialist for System Integration, or a comparable higher qualification.

Experience

  • Extensive professional experience and knowledge in handling telephone systems, specifically Mitel OpenScape 4000
  • Practical experience with the DAKS alerting server and localization systems
  • Proven experience in the operation of central communication and paging systems
  • Experience in structured and independent technical problem-solving
