Job Summary
This role involves the technical and operational leadership of an SMD (Surface-Mount Device) assembly team of up to 10 employees, including two shift supervisors. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth production workflows, optimizing SMT processes, and managing the setup and maintenance of Siplace placement machines and solder paste printers. Your day-to-day will involve creating Siplace programs, maintaining component databases, and conducting quality control in accordance with industry standards. You will collaborate across departments to drive continuous improvement and team development. This position is particularly attractive because it offers a leadership role with flexible 'Gleitzeit' (flexitime) hours from Monday to Friday, avoiding personal shift work while remaining accessible to early and late shift teams. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Production Technology, or a technical vocational training (e.g., Electronics Technician) with further qualification as a Technician or Master Craftsman (Meister).
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in PCB assembly specifically using ASMPT Siplace machines and solder paste printers
- Proven experience in technical leadership and team management of production staff
- Experience in creating Siplace programs and maintaining component databases
- Experience in quality control and process optimization within a manufacturing environment

Additional
- Must be available to support team members across early and late shifts; work is based in Lindau/Weißensberg (Lake Constance area); relocation to the area is expected (financial support provided).
