Job Summary

As a Service Technician for Power Networks at Bayernwerk Netz GmbH, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliable energy supply of the Bavarian region. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve performing inspections and maintenance on medium- and low-voltage networks, as well as managing external service providers for network construction and repair. You will be responsible for locating and resolving network disruptions, often triggered by weather events, and performing medium- and low-voltage switching operations to facilitate network maintenance. This role is highly community-focused, as you help integrate renewable energy sources into the grid. The position offers a unique level of autonomy and convenience, as your workday begins and ends at your home with a fully equipped company vehicle. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in an electro-technical field (e.g., Electronics Technician or Mechatronics Technician).

Experience

  • Experience in coordinating and managing external service providers for technical tasks
  • Experience in performing high-stakes technical work under various weather conditions
  • Participation in on-call readiness for emergency fault resolution
