Job Summary

This full-time, permanent role at one of Germany's largest Universities of Applied Sciences involves the comprehensive management and technical oversight of electrical engineering laboratories. As a Laboratory Engineer, you will be responsible for the daily maintenance and operation of lab facilities, while actively supporting the planning and construction of new experimental setups and test benches. You will play a key role in the strategic development of the laboratory landscape and handle procurement for both teaching and research labs. This position is ideal for a hands-on professional with a background in circuit technology and PCB design. The role is particularly attractive due to its stability within the public service sector (TV-L E10 pay scale), offering significant flexibility with up to 60% remote work, a central Munich location, and a strong focus on professional development and work-life balance.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. For foreign degrees, a ZAB (Central Office for Foreign Education) certificate evaluation is required.

Experience

  • Professional experience in analog and/or digital circuit technology
  • Practical experience in the design, simulation, realization, and testing of printed circuit boards (PCBs)
  • Experience using EDA software tools
  • Experience in laboratory maintenance and experimental setup construction is preferred
