As a Data Engineer at SIGNAL IDUNA, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the data-driven future of one of Germany's largest insurance and financial service providers. Based in Hamburg or Dortmund, you will be responsible for the professional conception of Data Warehouse (DWH) architecture, focusing on sustainable data modeling, seamless integration, and high data quality. Your day-to-day involves defining requirements for ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring metadata transparency, and managing the smooth operation and performance of the DWH. You will act as a critical bridge between business users and IT, translating complex requirements into technical solutions while ensuring compliance with GDPR standards.
