Job Summary
This role involves the strategic development and operation of core Modern Workplace products, specifically focusing on technologies like Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Office, Intune, Windows, and modern browser solutions. The engineer will actively shape the future of the digital workplace, contributing ideas to governance bodies and co-determination negotiations (e.g., with the Works Council). A critical component of the job is ensuring adherence to information security, data protection, and compliance standards across all product decisions. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science or a related field, possesses relevant experience in managing and evolving workplace technologies, and has strong foundational knowledge of IT security and regulatory requirements. This position offers the opportunity to work in a modern, agile environment, influence organizational change, and act as a key consultant for internal departments regarding technical and regulatory matters.

Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Relevant experience in the support and further development of Workplace technologies (Microsoft Copilot, Office, Intune, Windows, Browser)
- Foundational knowledge of IT security, data protection, and compliance requirements
- Desirable experience collaborating with co-determination bodies (e.g., Works Council)
- Desirable experience in highly regulated companies
