Job Summary
As a Rotor Blade Technician based in Bremen, you will be responsible for the worldwide repair, maintenance, and inspection of wind turbine rotor blades. Your daily activities involve performing structural repairs using GRP/CRP materials, applying gelcoat and laminate, and conducting leading-edge erosion repairs. You will operate at significant heights using aerial work platforms or rope access systems to assess damage and ensure the longevity of wind energy components. A critical part of the role includes detailed technical documentation and damage analysis. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in a craft or industrial field; Advanced training in laminating technology preferred; Valid PPE against falls (PSAgA) certificate; First Aid certificate (not older than 2 years).
Experience
- Completed vocational training in a craft or industrial profession
- Professional experience in laminating technology or relevant rotor blade repair is highly desirable
- Experience in rope access (FISAT Level I-III) is preferred
- Proven experience in technical documentation and damage assessment
- Experience working at heights using aerial platforms or rope systems
Languages
Additional
- High willingness to travel worldwide (5-day domestic tours, 3-week international tours); Valid G41 medical examination; Electrically Instructed Person (EUP) qualification preferred; Class B/3 driver's license preferred.
