Job Summary

This role is based within the Petter research group, focusing on tropical malaria research. As a laboratory professional, you will support fundamental research into the pathogenicity and development of malaria parasites to help identify new therapeutic targets. Your daily responsibilities include the independent planning, execution, and evaluation of cell biological and molecular biological experiments. You will manage laboratory operations, maintain cell cultures, and perform complex techniques such as transfection, selection, and validation of transgenic cell lines. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with modern, versatile methods in an international environment. The role is unique for its focus on global health challenges and offers the stability of a public service contract (TV-L) within a highly motivated, collaborative scientific team at a University Hospital.

Education

Completed vocational training as a Biological Technical Assistant (BTA) or Medical Laboratory Technologist (MTL/MTLA).

Experience
