Job Summary

As the Laboratory Technical Services Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that all laboratory facilities and analytical equipment remain fully operational and compliant with GRP and GMP standards. Your day-to-day activities involve leading a technical support team, managing preventative maintenance programs, and overseeing the entire equipment lifecycle from installation to decommissioning. You will act as a vital bridge between scientific staff and cross-functional departments such as IT, Facilities, and Procurement to resolve technical issues and optimize laboratory infrastructure. The role requires a hands-on approach to troubleshooting equipment failures and conducting root cause investigations. This position is particularly attractive for experienced professionals looking to combine technical laboratory expertise with leadership responsibilities in a high-stakes R&D environment. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field; Documented training in GMP regulations.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
  • At least 3 years of hands-on laboratory experience in a research environment
  • Proven experience in asset or equipment management
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in mentoring and managing technical teams
  • Experience in writing and reviewing GRP/GMP documentation and technical reports
