Job Summary
This role involves overseeing the technical management of buildings and infrastructure at the LVR-Klinik Düren. As a Facility Management Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning, budgeting, and execution of cross-disciplinary projects including renovations, modernizations, and extensions. Your day-to-day tasks include documenting building defects, ensuring compliance with safety and operational regulations, and coordinating third-party service providers such as specialist planners and construction firms. Additionally, you will serve as the clinic's hazardous substances and waste management officer. This position is particularly attractive due to its long-term stability within a public service framework (TVöD E13), offering 30 days of vacation, flexible working hours (Flex-Time), and a strong focus on work-life balance. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture (Dipl.-Ing., Master, or equivalent).
Experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience in project management, specifically as a construction or project manager
- Experience in the management and administration of real estate (Facility Management)
- Experience with public tendering processes and the auditing of construction invoices
- Professional experience in building physics and structural damage assessment
Languages
Additional
- Valid Class B (car) driver's license required. Mandatory submission of a current professional reference or work certificate (not older than one year). Specific certifications required or preferred: Waste Management Officer (AbfBeauftrV), Hazardous Substances Expert (GefStoffV), and Asbestos Expertise (TRGS 519 Annex 4C or Annex 3).
