Postdoctoral Researcher – Spatial Single-Cell Perturbation Maps | Postdoc – Spatial Single-Cell Perturbation Maps
Deutsches Krebsforschungszentrum
Job Summary
This postdoctoral role at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) focuses on leading the development and application of novel spatial single-cell profiling combined with high-throughput genome-editing. As part of the prestigious ERC Synergy Project DECODE, you will work at the intersection of experimental and computational biology to decode context-dependent genetic networks in vivo. Day-to-day responsibilities include automating single-cell methodologies, performing CRISPR/Cas9-based knockout perturbations, and conducting single-cell expression profiling and imaging. This position is ideal for a scientist looking to advance genome-editing technologies and gain fundamental insights into cellular circuitries within a world-class research environment. The role offers an attractive package including state-of-the-art infrastructure, international networking opportunities through the DKFZ International Postdoc Program, and a family-friendly working environment in Heidelberg. You will collaborate closely with experts from EMBL and Heidelberg University, making this a unique opportunity for high-impact interdisciplinary research.
