Job Summary

As a Laboratory Analyst at ProtaGene in Heilbronn, you will play a vital role in the biopharmaceutical development cycle, specifically focusing on the analysis of therapeutic protein active ingredients. Your daily responsibilities will involve performing analytical methods for method development, validation, and routine quality control (QC) testing, often within a GMP-regulated environment. You will be responsible for data collection, evaluation, and reporting, as well as the maintenance and qualification of analytical equipment. This position offers a unique opportunity to work for a leading global CRO partner in the cell and gene therapy sector. You will contribute to the standardization of assays and the creation of SOPs while collaborating with a team of approximately 175 employees across international locations. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Biological Technical Assistant (BTA), Biotechnological Assistant (BioTA), Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), or Biology Laboratory Technician; or a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the characterization of biomolecules such as proteins, protein conjugates, or peptides
  • Experience in liquid chromatography (HPLC/UPLC) or ultracentrifugation
  • Experience in a GMP-regulated environment is preferred
  • Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply
  • Experience in independent planning and organization of laboratory work
