Job Summary

ProtaGene is seeking a dedicated Biologist to join their team in a role focused on the biopharmaceutical, cell, and gene therapy sectors. In this position, you will be responsible for the establishment, qualification, and validation of cell-based assays such as cytotoxicity, reporter gene assays, and effector function, as well as ELISA-based potency and impurity assays within a GMP environment. Your day-to-day work will involve hands-on laboratory activities, data analysis, project management, and reporting to international clients. You will also oversee the maintenance and validation of laboratory equipment and computer systems, ensuring all documentation complies with strict GMP standards. This role is ideal for a professional with a background in biochemistry, biology, or biotechnology who thrives in a dynamic, quality-driven environment. You will play a key role in supporting the development cycle of life-saving therapeutics while working in a collaborative and innovative international setting. This position is initially offered as a 2-year fixed-term contract.
