Job Summary

ProtaGene is seeking a dedicated Biological Technical Assistant (BTA) to support their biopharmaceutical research and development operations. In this role, you will perform analytical testing of therapeutic protein agents, including data collection, evaluation, review, and reporting. You will be responsible for method development, validation, and routine quality control (QC) testing, ensuring all work adheres to GMP standards. Additionally, you will manage laboratory equipment qualification, software validation, and the maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs). This position is ideal for candidates ranging from entry-level professionals to experienced technicians who are passionate about complex analytical challenges in protein and gene therapy. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a BTA, BioTA, CTA, or Biological Laboratory Technician, or a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in laboratory analysis and protein characterization
  • Experience in a GMP-regulated environment is considered an advantage
