Job Summary
As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical assistance within a 1st and 2nd level support environment for one of Europe's leading IT service providers. Your daily responsibilities include processing support tickets, installing and cabling client hardware, and managing devices within the Active Directory. You will oversee the lifecycle of client equipment, from initial setup and software deployment via SCCM to the return and documentation of hardware in asset databases. This role requires a strong adherence to ITIL processes to ensure service consistency. This position is particularly attractive because it offers a 40-hour work week with no shift work, flat hierarchies, and a clear path toward permanent employment within a major IT firm that services DAX-listed corporations. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration), IT Systems Electronics Technician, or a comparable technical qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in a technical IT environment
- Practical experience in the provision and cabling of workplace equipment
- Demonstrated experience in ticket processing and technical troubleshooting
- Experience with software staging and OS deployment tools
