Job Summary
This full-time position at the Institute of Physiology I involves supporting cutting-edge neurophysiological research focused on cortico-thalamic network states. As a Biological Technical Assistant, you will perform surgical procedures on rodents, including stereotaxy, and conduct behavioral analyses. Your daily responsibilities will include executing electrophysiological measurements, histological work such as immunohistochemistry, and molecular biology tasks like qPCR and RNAscope. You will also utilize advanced imaging techniques like 2/3-photon calcium imaging and optogenetics. - Experience in animal experimentation and willingness to work with rodents
- Practical experience in histological and molecular biology laboratory techniques
