Job Summary
This role is for an experienced Chapter Lead in Java Development, focusing on decentralized service systems within a major German insurance and financial services provider. The successful candidate will lead a team of Java application developers, fostering knowledge exchange and ensuring the smooth operation, continuous development, and seamless integration of services. Key responsibilities include disciplinary leadership, strategic deployment of team members to various squads (e.g., "Archive+", "Input Management", "In- and Exkasso"), and acting as a crucial interface between IT and business for document and payment transactions. This position requires strong leadership, technical acumen, and the ability to manage complex IT projects and budgets, contributing to innovative integration solutions across squads.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Business Informatics, Business Mathematics, or certified IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or equivalent qualification
Experience
- Professional and leadership experience in software development and/or system integration
 - Experience in managing complex IT projects (program management)
 - Experience with SDA (Service-Dominated Architecture) application landscape
