Job Summary

This role is for an experienced (Senior) Expert in IT Service Management (ITSM), specializing in IT Asset Management (ITAM), to join an agile, interdisciplinary team within a major German insurer. The core responsibilities involve developing and optimizing the ITAM process according to ITIL v4, managing the complete lifecycle of all IT assets (hardware and software), and ensuring high data integrity within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). The expert will also be crucial in monitoring license usage and compliance in coordination with the License Management team, aiming for cost reduction through portfolio optimization. Day-to-day tasks include conducting regular asset audits, generating management reports, and collaborating closely with other ITSM processes (Change, Incident, Problem Management) to ensure seamless service operations.
