Job Summary

As a Systems Engineer for Windows Server Operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the digital future and operational readiness of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). Based in Wilhelmshaven, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and administration of a highly complex and virtualized Windows Server infrastructure. Your daily tasks include managing server clusters, performing 2nd and 3rd-level support for incident management, and executing changes within release management frameworks. A significant focus of this role is automation; you will develop PowerShell scripts and use Ansible to streamline complex business processes. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree with a focus on IT or a comparable vocational professional training.

Experience

  • 3 years in the operation and troubleshooting of Windows Server operating systems
  • Professional experience in large-scale IT environments managing complex tasks
  • Professional experience in automation using Ansible or AAP
  • Professional experience in scripting and programming with PowerShell
  • Experience in supporting security audits
  • Experience in 2nd and 3rd-level technical support
