Job Summary

As an IT Application Support Specialist at BWI, you will play a critical role in ensuring the digital operational readiness of the German Armed Forces. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve acting as the primary point of contact for application management within HR systems, coordinating incident and problem management, and overseeing software development processes. You will manage release planning, perform application monitoring, handle patch management, and oversee license management while coordinating with external subcontractors. This role requires a strong background in application and service management, specifically within ITIL frameworks. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability and continuous improvement of complex IT infrastructures.
