Job Summary

As a Systems Engineer for the System Management Platform (SMP), you will play a critical role in ensuring the digital operational readiness of the German Armed Forces. Working within the Managed Workstation department, you will be responsible for the maintenance, optimization, and operation of the SMP, including SCCM, SCOR, and reporting infrastructure. Your day-to-day tasks will involve SLA-compliant management of incidents, changes, and releases, as well as troubleshooting complex IT infrastructure issues. You will also contribute to the advancement of 'Zero Touch' automation initiatives. This position requires a solid background in IT infrastructure, specifically within Microsoft environments, and a strong aptitude for problem management. Required Skills

Education

Completed IT vocational training or a university degree with a focus on Computer Science or related fields.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in managing complex IT infrastructures
  • Proven experience in IT service support and management processes (Incident and Problem Management)
  • Practical experience in system installation and technical troubleshooting
