Job Summary

As an Onsite IT Support Technician, you will be the primary technical point of contact for clients across Saxony, providing hands-on support for hardware and software issues. Your daily responsibilities include setting up, configuring, and commissioning workstations, as well as providing user instruction. You will perform troubleshooting and fault analysis for desktops, notebooks, printers, and peripherals, while also handling basic networking tasks such as patching. The role involves managing the full lifecycle of IT assets, from inventory management and storage to supporting large-scale software rollouts and office moves. This position is ideal for service-oriented professionals who enjoy a mix of technical problem-solving and direct customer interaction. You will work within a structured environment using ticket systems like Jira and following ITIL processes. This role offers the stability of a collective agreement, performance-based bonuses, and a high potential for permanent takeover by the client, with a company vehicle provided for travel within the region.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational IT training (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) or an equivalent qualification with practical experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in an IT support environment
  • Routine experience in fault analysis and troubleshooting for Windows devices, notebooks, and printers
  • Experience in client and asset handling, including inventory management
  • Practical experience working with ticket systems
  • Experience in providing onsite customer service and user instruction
